Where is the best place to buy blinds/window treatments?
We are building a new home and confused about the best place to buy wood blinds and a few curtains, what brands are best, and who to have install them. I know we can go to JC Penny, not sure how good or competitive they are. Also, Lowes and Home Depot sell them as well as online stores like justblinds. What would you recommend as the best approach to get good value, good products, and a fair price fully installed. Also, what brands are best for blinds?
I need window treatments for my apartment...?
I live in Tampa and i want to have window treatments of my apartment done. 2 bedrooms and one living room. I am just not able to pull it off. I bought stuff at Anna's linens but don't know how to make it work. Does anyone know a store where they can provide both the materials and the installation...for a reasonable price? I consulted Jc Penney and they told me $500.
What are the best window treatments for a low price?
We are in the process of buying a house. It is a rehabbed house that is not currently lived in and all the windows are bare no curtains, no blinds, no shades. The house is in an urban area where houses are close together and there is heavy foot traffic on the sidewalk. Clearly, for security and privacy, we will need to put in some sort of window treatments. We are a young couple, first time home buyers and in our " house buying" budget we had not planned for buying window treatments right away. What do you recommend? We are looking for something classic won't go out of style , practical, and if possible energy efficient a house we almost bought had energy efficient window treatments that we were really intrigued by . What is the best all around solution? We don't want to buy ugly, cheap shades that will be a pain to install and that we will want to replace in a couple years. We'd like something that is relatively inexpensive, but will last us awhile.

Please Help My walls are a darker but not too dark blue green, my couch is a darker beige, my furniture is a dark cherry and the wood floors are a reddish oak....what color drapes window treatments should I do???? First was thinking a chocolate brown but then thought a a lighter color might be better cause I didn't want the room to be too dark. Please help...I totally need nate berkus...lolThanks
What type of window treatments for a huge window?
I have a huge window in our living room. It needs window treatments.The window measures inside the casing 8 feet wide and 4 feet tall.Right now we have boring vertical blinds that are falling apart. One piece is duct taped to the top.Our living room decor is masculine. Taupe walls with dark green furniture. Oak wood tones.Train pictures on the walls. We have a country rustic style of preference.We need something that will function to keep sun out because this is a west window.I have considered plain panels with grommet tops for ease of opening and closing.I am terrible at interior decorating, but great at following directions We have a fairly low budget. $100 $150. I can sew.
Painting room... What should I use for window treatments?
I have a room about 15'x15' and I'm painting it a Mint Green Color.... I have vertical blinds and every other slat is painted grey and a light blue with the valence grey... Should I repaint the blinds and if so what color?... I also thought about un clipping the blinds and putting up some red wine sheer curtain under the valence.... which then means no blinds so I would have to find blinds to put in the windows.... I have pink carpet and natural wood trim.... What would work?????
Ideas for bay window window treatments?
I have a bay window that has very uncommon dimensions. It's impossible to find a rod that will fit to go all the way across so I have been trying to find window treatments that will fit in each window that look nice. I have no idea what to put in them. They are very tall, narrow windows. I have to buy special sizes no matter where I look. What kind of window treatment would look nice in a bay window?

I just moved into an apartment complex where we can't put screws in the wall. They have horizontal blinds in the window in my room, but they are quite old and terrible and offer little privacy. Okay so im redoingg my room and i have some ugly vertical blinds and its a pretty big, 3 pane window. Im painting my room a neutral, brown color some what like this myperfectcolor.com Benjamin Moore HC 75 Maryville Brown p mpc0007017.htm and i dont know anything at all about window treatments. what colors? styles? nothinggggggggggggggg.its a prettyy big room, one bed, and the window is on the oppisite wall of the door i dont know if that has anything to do with it haha anywhoo, thanks again. just kinda try to fill me in with the styles and what colors styles you think that would be best for my room, and if you need anymore information, i can add details if you need them.
